The Dhoom franchise returns with its fourth installment, bringing back Hrithik Roshan’s swagger and the series’ signature high-octane action. But beneath the gleaming surface, the film struggles with a wafer-thin plot.

Story

A master thief targets the world’s most valuable artifacts in impossible heists across Europe. Jai and Ali are called back to track down the enigmatic Aryan, leading to a cat-and-mouse game spanning multiple countries.

What Works

Hrithik Roshan is effortlessly cool as the suave thief. His chemistry with Katrina Kaif sizzles, and their dance sequences are showstoppers. The heist sequences are imaginatively choreographed, with a Monaco sequence that’s genuinely jaw-dropping.

Visually, this is the best-looking Dhoom film by far. The cinematography is gorgeous, and the production design is top-notch.

What Could Be Better

The script is the weakest link. The twists are telegraphed from miles away, and character motivations are paper-thin. The film prioritizes style so heavily that the emotional stakes never register. At nearly 2.5 hours, the middle section sags considerably.

Final Verdict

Dhoom 4 is a slick, good-looking action film that provides surface-level entertainment. If you’re watching for the stunts, the style, and Hrithik’s charm, you’ll have fun. Just don’t expect depth.
