War 3 has stormed the box office, with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s first on-screen pairing turning into one of the biggest openers of the YRF Spy Universe.
A Franchise-Best Opening
The film opened to ₹52 crore nett domestic on day one, the highest of the War franchise so far, and held remarkably well across the first week. Overseas numbers have been especially strong, with the Gulf and North America circuits reporting record advance bookings for an Indian action film.
Performance
Weekday collections have shown minimal drop-off compared to previous franchise entries, a sign of strong word-of-mouth around the Hrithik–Jr NTR face-off sequences. Premium format shows (IMAX, 4DX) are running near capacity even past the opening week.
Current Status
War 3 is still running in theatres, with trade estimates projecting a further ₹100-150 crore before its theatrical run closes. A Blockbuster verdict has already been confirmed, with the film on pace to become the highest-grossing entry in the franchise.
